Introduction of
M.Div.
M.Div. is a program to train candidates for the clergy of the Anglican Church of Korea by studying theological theories, ecumenical theology in Korea, and social responsibility of the church, and doing research by relating domestic and international real fields. In addition, by learning the theological directions of the Anglican Communion, students will understand the basics of comprehensive theologies and be equipped with various perspectives and critical thinking abilities. The program is consisted of 3 year (6 semesters) curriculum: 2 years (first 4 semesters) for the basics of theology, domestic and overseas internship in the 5th semester and finally a thesis in the last 6th semester. Students study basic theologies, the Anglican liturgy and musics, and various contextual theologies such as life, peace, women, MinJung, science, arts, cultures, NGOs, dialogues between religions. Students live in the dormitary at least 2 years doing the daily office and spiritual training communally. M.Div. students can get scholarship either from the affiliated churches they belong to or Sungkonghoe University.
