Student email (MS Office free)

Students can create and use an e-mail account that is used as a school domain (@office.skhu.ac.kr), and after creating an account, you can install the MS Office (OFFICE 365) program on up to 5 personal PCs (Windows, MAC) and mobile devices. You can install it and use it.

Target

  • Current students and faculty
  • It can be used during the period of registration as a student at Sungkonghoe University, and the account cannot be used from the time when changes in academic records such as graduation, enrollment, or expulsion are approved.

    • Install the latest Office on up to 5 devices (PC, MAC, mobile, etc.)

    • 50GB mailbox, built-in anti-virus and anti-spam functions
    • Connecting various mobile devices
  • SharePoint online web hard / news feed / team site
    • OnDrive Business (web hard drive) 1TB provided
    • Secure file sharing and team collaboration
  • Skype for Business messenger / voice video call / online meeting
    • Messenger, voice video calls and conferences
    • Desktop sharing (Powerpoint and screen, etc.)
    • Various linkages with Outlook and SharePoint are possible

How to create an account

  • After logging in to the portal website ( portal.skhu.ac.kr ) click the MS OFFICE 365 shortcut link in the shortcut service to proceed with a simple membership registration process on the linked page and create an account
  • ① Log in to the portal website
  • ② Click the shortcut service link on the portal website
  • ③ Click the link to sign up for Office 365 and proceed to sign up

E-mail on PC

  • After accessing the MS OUTLOOK (mymail.skhu.ac.kr) homepage, log in with the account you created (ID@office.skhu.ac.kr) and use your email

Email access from mobile devices

  • After accessing http://mymail.skhu.ac.kr in the web browser of your mobile device, log in with the created account ID@office.skhu.ac.kr
  • Log in to the account ID@office.skhu.ac.kr created after selecting microsoft exchange for mail configuration in the mobile device email app
  • If you need to connect your mailbox using POP and IMAP, use the following information
  • POP Settings
    • Server Name: outlook.office365.com
    • Port: 995
    • Encryption method: TLS
  • IMAP Settings
    • Server Name: outlook.office365.com
    • Port : 993
    • Encryption mothod : TLS
  • SMTP Settings
    • Server name : smtp.office365.com
    • Port : 587
    • Encryption method : STARTTLS

How to install MS Office 365

  • After accessing the MS Office portal site (portal.office.com), log in with the created account (ID@office.skhu.ac.kr), select the Office installation menu, and proceed with installation
