International Cultural StudiesGo to Website
Inter-Asia Cultural Studies has been established in order to train the researchers for reginal studies and cultures. The curricula consist of Asian Thoughts and Cultures, Cultural Studies, Cold War Cultures, Feminism, Migration and Diaspora and Film Criticism. Our program aims at establishing alternative regional humanities disciplines which help to make an Inter-Asia style ‘knowledge-praxis’ circulatory structure. Together with the diverse programs of Eastasia Research Institute at SungKongHoe University, we encourage students to explore the multi-layered realities of Asia: global-national-regional and local. Considering various backgrounds of students, for instance, their ages, undergraduate majors, activity areas, and careers, the program operates an one-on-one tutoring system to find out their interest areas and research topics from the 2nd semester.
